Time has recently relocated itself when the clocks went forward on March 29th. (And for those who are confused by how to remember the ‘fwd’ and ‘back’ thing, remember this: You Spring forward, and Fall back! Get it? Now don’t forget it!) For most of those in the UK with connections down south, this means we are now an hour closer to the southern hemisphere. Or something silly like that!

And with spring in the air, a few southern bands are braving the band leap of faith and relocating to the UK now that the winter blandness has ebbed away and the daylight hours are on the up… Two South African bands are making the move – first up is Joburg based Fevertree who are coming to the UK in April, and following them in May is Durban band – Sitter. Now in its second year, Lucky Life is hosting the fabulous Party Boat on Sat 29 March while watching boats of another shape race by! Alas, this year’s event sold out within four days! But if this VIP view appeals to you – book now for next year to be one of 250 people experiencing awesome scenery, sunshine (hopefully), music, cocktails and all the pizzazz and dress-up glamour of a day at the races (horse races that is…)!
